A Deeper in God Bible Study

If you have studied 1 and 2 Peter, have you thought of working through a character study on Peter? If so, great! Because I have just the two study guides for you to work through. Here’s a teaser for you. When we first meet Peter, we find a man who works hard at his trade to provide for his family and his business partners’ families.

Peter, otherwise known as Simon, was a fisherman living in the Capernaum region by the Sea of Galilee. He wasn’t educated, but he and his business partners, his brother Andrew, and their two friends, John and James, made a decent living.

A Character Study of Peter

A bit of background for you, Andrew and John met Jesus one day when they were standing around talking with John the Baptist. Jesus casually walked by them when John the Baptist said, “Behold the Lamb of God!”

Nothing more needed to be said as both Andrew and John began to follow Jesus, leaving John the Baptist alone. I’m sure the Baptist was smiling as he watched them follow Jesus.

Have you ever followed someone only to have her turn around and catch you? Were you startled by this sudden movement? You would almost expect to be asked what you’re doing, why you were following them. But in this case, that’s not what Jesus said.

Subscriber Resource Library

I really don’t want to give away any more of the character study on Peter, as I don’t want to spoil your study. However, I do want to provide you with two study guides:

  • Peter, A Disciple of Jesus Christ: A Study of Peter Through the Gospels,
  • Peter, A Fisher of Men: A Study of Peter Through the Book of Acts

These study guides, and all other study guides, are available through signing up for my emails.

If you are not already receiving emails from me, why not sign up for my monthly newsletters and, at the same time, receive three gifts for signing up AND also receive access to my Subscriber Resources Library?

Both Libraries, Free Resources, and Subscriber Resources are free to everyone; however, the Subscriber Resources Library requires a sign-up as it is password-protected.

Are you wondering what the difference is between these two libraries? The easiest way to explain it is to say that all Bible Study Guides will be in the Subscriber Library, and everything else will be available in the Free Resources.

Once you sign up, you will receive an email to confirm your subscription. After that, you will receive your first of three emails, and in it, you will receive not only the first gift of a devotional called Jesus in the Morning, but you will also receive the password for the Subscriber Resource Library.

If you have any questions, contact me via email at Cindy@womensbibleteaching.ca.

Enjoy the character study on Peter!
